There are currently close to 1600 domes worldwide, but they are almost all located in science centers and exclusively showing planetarium and science-related content. Through our established program, MORPHOS, we at Denver Arts + Technology Advancement (DATA) are global pioneers in implementing wholly arts-focused programming on digital dome technology. Through MORPHOS, we provide access to hands-on training in real-time, interactive, and performative fulldome arts and virtual reality environments. Our goal is to expose and train artists in full immersion production for a growing need of digital dome (fulldome) art. 2018 welcomes our fourth year of hosting this unique experience.

We could not have done this without our sponsors!

Thank you Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, City of Fort Collins Fort Fund, Alt Ethos, Meow Wolf, (SALT) Magazine, and Downtown Artery.
Food Donors: Denver Zoo: KM Catering, QDoba, Fort Collins Food Co-op, Natural Grocers, Sprouts, Jimmy Johns, and Noodles and Company!

MORPHOS History:

Our Executive Director, Ethan Bach, has been trailblazing digital dome creation since 2010. Bach served at the Institute of American Indian Arts as Principal Investigator for a DoD grant developing interactivity for the digital dome and as Research Associate for an NSF grant developing tools, content, and curriculum for digital dome environments. Ethan began organizing annual MORPHOS Digital Dome Workshops and Artist-in-Residencies in 2014 in Los Angeles, California. MORPHOS is now in its third year in Colorado and inspired the nonprofit Denver Arts + Technology Advancement (DATA) whose mission is Empowerment Through Creative Technology.
